\u201cWhen Dingo first came into our lives, he was barely recognizable as a German Shepherd,\u201d says Sarah. \u201cHe was\u00a0<\/span>overweight,\u00a0<\/b><\/span>stiff<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/a> and so withdrawn.\u201d Dingo had spent most of his years confined to a small kennel. His previous career, an elderly woman, did the best she could, but Dingo had had very little room to move and got mainly unhealthy leftovers or cheap kibble to eat. \u201cBecause of this, <\/span>his joints were inflamed<\/strong>, his eyes bulged from the pressure of excess weight, and he could barely lie down without whimpering,\u201d Sarah recalls. \u201cIt broke my heart.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

Determined to help him, Sarah began to make\u00a0<\/span>small but steady changes<\/strong>. \u201cWe started with short walks in nature or around our farm,\u201d she explains. \u201cEvery day he went a little further.\u201d In addition to more space to move, Sarah introduced <\/span>biofeedback training<\/u><\/span><\/b><\/a>,\u00a0which she knew\u00a0can support\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>joints\u00a0and overall pain\u00a0relief for dogs<\/span>. \u201cI had him lie down on the <\/span>biofeedback <\/span>pet pad once a week,\u201d she says. \u201c<\/span>The OMNIS<\/span>\u00ae<\/span>\u00a0program<\/span><\/b><\/u><\/a> helped calm his nervous system and <\/span>ease his pain<\/strong>. And once a week, Dingo got <\/span>a raw cow bone<\/strong>: something natural and satisfying to help his teeth and support his gut health.\u201d Within months, Dingo began to change. \u201cBut then, one afternoon, Dingo suddenly fell <\/span>very\u00a0ill<\/strong>,\u201d Sarah recalls. \u201cHe was panting heavily, his heart racing, and he was visibly in distress. It escalated so quickly. Within minutes, he was <\/span>losing consciousness<\/strong>. Frantically, Sarah tried to piece the puzzle together. \u201cI kept asking myself, what changed? What did he eat?\u201d she says. Then she remembered. Earlier that day, Dingo had grabbed <\/span>a raw bone<\/strong> straight from the butcher\u2019s bag \u2013 one that hadn\u2019t been frozen, as Sarah usually did for safety. \u201cWe thought, just this once, it\u2019ll be fine,\u201d she admits. \u201cBut it wasn\u2019t. Sarah immediately turned on <\/span>the\u00a0OMNIS\u00ae\u00a0program<\/strong>, hoping that <\/span>biofeedback therapy<\/span> could help Dingo pull through. \u201cI addressed the infection energetically,\u201d she recounts, \u201cfocusing on acute bacterial response, <\/span>cardiovascular stress<\/strong> and heart support.\u201d In addition, she gave Dingo a small dose of her homemade garlic tincture, something she always keeps ready for sudden stomach or bowel upsets in her animals.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cThe change was almost unbelievable,\u201d she says. \u201cWithin fifteen minutes, his breathing returned to normal, <\/span>his heartbeat steadied<\/strong>, and that spark came back into his eyes.\u201d Dingo stayed on the <\/span>biofeedback<\/span> mat for two hours, resting, while the system ran quietly beneath him. By the next morning, Sarah could hardly believe it. \u201cHe woke up as if nothing had happened, completely himself again,\u201d she smiles. \u201cHe was <\/span>wagging his tail<\/strong>, ready for the next adventure.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Raw\u00a0feeding<\/strong> can be wonderful for pets when done safely and correctly. Even if your pet is used to raw foods, never skip proper handling steps. Freezing raw meat or bones for at least 72 hours can help reduce the risk of certain parasites, though it does not eliminate all bacteria such as <\/span>Salmonella<\/span><\/i>\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span>E. coli.<\/span><\/i> Always handle raw items hygienically and discard anything that\u2019s been left out for more than a short period.<\/span><\/p>

If there\u2019s still meat on a bone and your dog doesn\u2019t finish it, refrigerate it (do not freeze it!) and offer it again within 24 hours. In warm climates, discard uneaten raw meat or bones promptly to avoid bacterial growth. Once a bone has been well-chewed and stripped clean of soft tissue, it poses a lower contamination risk\u2014but supervision and good hygiene are always key.<\/span><\/p>

Reflecting on her journey with Dingo, Sarah is clear: \u201cThe raw food wasn\u2019t the problem, it was how it was handled.\u201d She\u2019s seen how <\/span>proper nutrition<\/strong>, exercise and care can completely transform an animal\u2019s life. \u201cPeople often think they\u2019re saving money with cheap kibble, but when you switch to a good-quality, grain-free food, you actually need less of it. Your dog has <\/span>better digestion<\/strong>, steadier energy and you spend less time at the vet.\u201d Dingo\u2019s transformation was living proof. \u201cHe went from barely moving to running free,\u201d Sarah smiles. \u201cJust from better food, regular <\/span>walks, b<\/span>iofeedback <\/span>training, and a lot of love.
