How biofeedback saved German Shepherd Dingo’s life – twice

“Our German Shepherd Dingo had l' kindest soul and the strongest spirit,” says his owner, Sarah Mitchell. “He’s taught me so much about paying attention.” Sarah had already experienced the benefits of biofeedback when Dingo had just come inà her care. So, when he faced a serious health scare, she turned to the same approach to pull him through. Dingo’s story is one of healing and learning, and of a close call that changed the way Sarah approaches raw feeding.

Searching for joint relief for dogs

“When Dingo first came into our lives, he was barely recognizable as a German Shepherd,” says Sarah. “He was overweight, stiff and so withdrawn.” Dingo had spent most of his years confined to a small kennel. His previous career, an elderly woman, did the best she could, but Dingo had had very little room to move and got mainly unhealthy leftovers or cheap kibble to eat. “Because of this, his joints were inflamed, his eyes bulged from the pressure of excess weight, and he could barely lie down without whimpering,” Sarah recalls. “It broke my heart.”

Determined to help him, Sarah began to make small but steady changes. “We started with short walks in nature or around our farm,” she explains. “Every day he went a little further.” In addition to more space to move, Sarah introduced biofeedback training, which she knew can support the joints and overall pain relief for dogs. “I had him lie down on the biofeedback pet pad once a week,” she says. “L'OMNIS® program helped calm his nervous system and ease his pain. I could see him starting to relax.”

Sarah continues: “We also swapped out the cheap kibble for a high-protein, grain-free alternative. And once a week, Dingo got a raw cow bone: something natural and satisfying to help his teeth and support his gut health.” Within months, Dingo began to change. His weight dropped, his joints loosened and his spirit returned. “We would see him sprinting alongside his best friend, our mare Paqunina.”

Quick indications thanks to biofeedback

“But then, one afternoon, Dingo suddenly fell very ill,” Sarah recalls. “He was panting heavily, his heart racing, and he was visibly in distress. It escalated so quickly. Within minutes, he was losing consciousness. There was no time to get him to the vet.” Acting on instinct, Sarah rushed to switch on her Le QUEX ED® device, the same one that had helped Dingo before. “I placed him on the pad and started a scan,” she says. “It immediately pointed to an acute bacterial infection."

Frantically, Sarah tried to piece the puzzle together. “I kept asking myself, what changed? What did he eat?” she says. Then she remembered. Earlier that day, Dingo had grabbed a raw bone straight from the butcher’s bag – one that hadn’t been frozen, as Sarah usually did for safety. “We thought, just this once, it’ll be fine,” she admits. “But it wasn’t. The biofeedback device was spot on.” The unfrozen bone had carried bacteria, and to make matters worse, it came from a mixed batch that included pork; something Sarah normally never feeds her dogs because it can upset their stomachs. “It was one of those perfect storms,” she says quietly. “And poor Dingo paid the price.”

Biofeedback at home: a lifesaver

Sarah immediately turned on the OMNIS® program, hoping that thérapie par biofeedback could help Dingo pull through. “I addressed the infection energetically,” she recounts, “focusing on acute bacterial response, cardiovascular stress and heart support.” In addition, she gave Dingo a small dose of her homemade garlic tincture, something she always keeps ready for sudden stomach or bowel upsets in her animals.

“The change was almost unbelievable,” she says. “Within fifteen minutes, his breathing returned to normal, his heartbeat steadied, and that spark came back into his eyes.” Dingo stayed on the biofeedback mat for two hours, resting, while the system ran quietly beneath him. By the next morning, Sarah could hardly believe it. “He woke up as if nothing had happened, completely himself again,” she smiles. “He was wagging his tail, ready for the next adventure.”

Dingo’s second chance

Raw feeding can be wonderful for pets when done safely and correctly. Even if your pet is used to raw foods, never skip proper handling steps. Freezing raw meat or bones for at least 72 hours can help reduce the risk of certain parasites, though it does not eliminate all bacteria such as Salmonella ou E. coli. Always handle raw items hygienically and discard anything that’s been left out for more than a short period.

If there’s still meat on a bone and your dog doesn’t finish it, refrigerate it (do not freeze it!) and offer it again within 24 hours. In warm climates, discard uneaten raw meat or bones promptly to avoid bacterial growth. Once a bone has been well-chewed and stripped clean of soft tissue, it poses a lower contamination risk—but supervision and good hygiene are always key.

Reflecting on her journey with Dingo, Sarah is clear: “The raw food wasn’t the problem, it was how it was handled.” She’s seen how proper nutrition, exercise and care can completely transform an animal’s life. “People often think they’re saving money with cheap kibble, but when you switch to a good-quality, grain-free food, you actually need less of it. Your dog has better digestion, steadier energy and you spend less time at the vet.” Dingo’s transformation was living proof. “He went from barely moving to running free,” Sarah smiles. “Just from better food, regular walks, biofeedback training, and a lot of love. It’s not just about what you feed your pet – it’s also about how you feed it, and the love, intention, and awareness you bring to the process.Dingo continued to enjoy his raw bones into old age. May his memory and love continue to shine through us all.

Biofeedback for animals

In Dingo’s case, the OMNIS® program was used for his quantum biofeedback sessions. While OMNIS® can be successfully applied to both humans and animals, QX World has developed a specialized program called NOAH® for more targeted quantum biofeedback training for animals including dogs and cats.
