Cilla Black: How Biofeedback and Holistic Care Helped Her Thrive

Rescue cat Cilla Black relaxing peacefully by a pond, symbolizing calm and relief through natural care and biofeedback.

When we found Cilla Black on the street, she was a shadow of what a young cat should be—frail, emaciated, her fur split and lifeless. She was about a year old, but her small, delicate frame made her look half that. From the moment we brought her home, despite her condition, she was incredibly sweet—gentle, open-hearted, and deeply affectionate.

It didn’t take us long to realize she was deaf. But Cilla’s world, though quiet, was filled with connection. She loved everyone—humans, animals, and even birds. One of her favorite places to be was by the pond, sitting silently among the ducks. Each morning, she would nestle beneath one of our horses, who gently groomed her, accepting her as one of their own. It was clear she had a special spirit—one that sought peace, trust, and belonging.

Where Relief Began

Cilla’s recovery started the way all our rescue animals recoveries do: with natural worm/parasite and flea treatment for cats, a three-week isolation period, digestive support, fresh and grain-free diet. We did regular biofeedback sessions to support her immune system, which was severely compromised. Progress was slow and , and her energy often came and went. Like many animals who’ve experienced prolonged neglect, Cilla’s body needed time and plenty of rest to recover.

She had overgrown canine teeth that made eating difficult at times, which added to her fragility. Her small size, chronic runny nose (which we addressed with home remedies) and fluctuating health reminded us daily that finding relief isn’t a straight path—it’s a quiet, winding road filled with patience and presence. Still, she never gave up—and neither did we.

The Summer Setback

By the time her second spring arrived, Cilla had come a long way. She was stronger and more engaged. But that season also brought a heavy wave of fleas and ticks, and our usual natural treatments began to lose their effectiveness. We tried several alternatives and eventually found a natural product that worked for all the animals—except Cilla.

Her health began to decline again. After much hesitation—and against my better judgment, knowing that fleas and ticks can severely weaken a cat’s immune system, causing skin irritation, blood loss, and transmitting potentially life-threatening diseases, especially in vulnerable animals—I applied a chemical spot-on flea treatment to her neck. What happened next is something I will never forget—and will never repeat.

The Power of Biofeedback in a Critical Moment

Within two hours, Cilla tried to climb into my lap—but she could barely move. Her breathing was labored, her body weak and trembling. It was clear she was having a severe reaction to the chemical.

I did everything I could. I washed the application site, though it’s nearly impossible to fully remove these substances. I turned to my Biofeedback device, entered the chemical’s energetic signature into the program, inverted the frequency, and charged a homeopathic remedy. I diluted the drops into water and gently gave them to her, keeping the biofeedback device running in a loop with various programs related to poisoning and immune system support.

That night, she lay on my chest, barely breathing. I stayed awake, giving her drops every 30 minutes. I whispered to her, letting her know she was safe, that she was loved—and that I would respect her decision if she chose to leave. By morning, a faint twitch of her paw gave me hope. She was still with us. Over the next three weeks, she fought her way back to health. Cilla had survived—again.

Returning to what works

After that night, I made a promise: never again would I use harsh chemicals on animals like Cilla Black. From then on, we used natural flea and tick products only for her—applied gently every three days in smaller quantities. This approach worked beautifully for her and allowed her body to stay balanced without being overwhelmed.

Cilla bloomed that summer. Her soul shone through in everything she did—especially in the way she loved. She had a gift for softening hearts. She’d curl up in a visitor’s lap, press her head to their chest, and simply be. It was so disarming, so full of presence, that many people were moved to tears. She reminded us daily of the quiet power of unconditional love.

The Final Chapter

Two years after we brought her home, Cilla’s health began to decline. This time, not even biofeedback detox programs could reverse what was happening.

We learned she had feline leukemia, AIDS, and other long-term conditions. The vet told us it was remarkable she had made it this far. But we weren’t surprised. Cilla had always been more spirit than body.

In the end, she left us as she lived—with grace. We gave her love, comfort, and our full presence. She gave us everything she had.

What Cilla Taught Us About Health

Cilla Black’s story is not just about recovery. It’s about presence, showing up every day with patience, gentleness, and love. It’s about honoring the sensitivity of beings who have been through more than we can imagine, and who cannot tolerate the harsh treatments that are often considered normal.

Cilla may have been small, deaf, and sickly, but her heart was enormous. She gave more than many ever do in a lifetime—and she reminded us that healing is not always about longevity. Sometimes, it’s about the depth of connection in the time we’re given.

Her spirit lives on—in the ducks by the pond, the soft nuzzle of a horse’s breath, and the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Cilla taught us what real well-being looks like. Quiet. Fierce. Full of grace.

Biofeedback works by listening first. It reads an animal’s energy before choosing the right support.. That’s also why we at QX WORLD created NOAH®, our non-invasive software for supporting animals in their health processes.

If you care for animals—whether as a professional or an owner – remember this: finding relief doesn’t always mean curing. Sometimes, it means choosing a kinder path. One that values presence, patience, and deep respect for the beings who rely on us.
